Acceptance

By downloading and installing the Pinpoint desktop app, creating an account, or creating a workspace, you confirm that you have read and accept the Privacy Policy (https://pinpt.io/en/privacy) and Terms of Service (https://pinpt.io/en/terms). Continuing to use the app means you remain bound by that acceptance. When we update the policy, the current text is published on this website; we may notify you in the app or by email for important changes.

Information we collect

Account and workspace data:

• Email address and name when you sign up
• Workspace, project, and team membership details
• Feedback notes, comments, assignments, status, and priority
• Board content: sticky notes, drawings, text, and images you add
• Addresses of sites you review and where on the page each comment was placed
• Optional screenshots and file attachments
• Device notification identifier if you enable notifications
• Support requests and app version information

Integrations (optional)

You may create connection keys in Integrations inside the app. Keys only access the project you choose; we store the key name, linked project, read or edit permission, and creation time. You can revoke keys at any time. A key is shared with a third-party tool (for example an AI assistant) only if you configure it; we do not use your keys for ads or model training.

Live collaboration

When you work together on a site or board, cursor position and session information may be processed so everyone sees updates in real time. Full copies of websites you open in the app are not stored on our servers; only the comments and board content you create are linked to your workspace.

How we use information

We use information only to provide Pinpoint, manage team feedback and board collaboration, maintain security, and offer support. We do not sell or rent your data for advertising profiling.

Service providers

Data is stored and processed on secure cloud infrastructure needed to run the app. Providers access data only to deliver the service and may not use it for their own advertising or profiling.

Retention and deletion

Notes, board items, and projects are kept until deleted. When a workspace owner deletes a workspace, related data is removed. Revoked connection keys lose access immediately. Contact us for access or deletion requests.

Changes

We may update this policy when the app or legal requirements change. The “Last updated” date will change accordingly.
